Loved the peacefulness and tranquility of the place. The owners were friendly and helpful, and even provided a dog bed and bowls for my furry friend. Already recommended it to everyone I know!
Slippery shower floor, but who needs safety? Just surf and slide your way through! 😂

For the price, our stay at Wyke Cowsheds was excellent value. The room was beautifully decorated and furnished, and the shower was fantastic. The location was peaceful and surrounded by a lovely countryside, perfect for walks with our dog. The hosts were friendly, helpful, and provided thoughtful touches like leaving lights on for our arrival and a bottle of local milk in the fridge.
Breakfast delights would be even better with the addition of a shower mat for extra safety in the slippery shower.

As a senior woman, I absolutely adored the cozy and charming decor of the hotel. The soft floral patterns and comfortable furniture made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and spacious, allowing for easy movement and accessibility. It was such a delight to relax in the lovely garden and take in the beautiful surroundings. It truly made my stay feel special and perfect for seniors like me.
Perhaps it would have been even better if there were handrails installed in certain areas of the hotel, especially in the bathrooms and along the stairways. This would provide some extra support and safety for senior guests like myself.
